State Barber Academy exists to develop the next generation of skilled, confident and professional barbers.
Our accelerated nine-month program combines comprehensive technical education, practical training and real-world barbershop experience, providing students with the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge required to become a qualified barber.
From traditional men's haircutting to contemporary fades, tapers and advanced scissor techniques, our curriculum is designed to provide a thorough understanding of the craft.
But becoming a great barber involves more than technical ability.
At State, we believe professionalism is built on honour, respect, discipline and the way we treat others. Alongside developing technical skills, we place a strong emphasis on character, communication, barbershop etiquette and the ability to provide an exceptional client experience.
Our students won't simply spend their education practising on mannequin heads. Through regular, supervised haircutting sessions with real people, they'll develop practical experience, build confidence and learn how to operate in a professional barbershop environment.
